Claire Henderson-Wilson is an Associate Professor in health sciences / planetary health within the School of Health and Social Development, Deakin University. She co-leads the Health, Nature, Sustainability Research Group and Human Health and Environmental Change domain within the Sustainable Health Network. Claire is involved in both completing and supervising a number of projects investigating the health benefits of contact with nature and in recent years, her research has predominantly focused on the health and wellbeing benefits of community garden participation, the role of animals in enhancing health and wellbeing and the links between climate change and mental health.
