Researcher – First Nations Knowledges, HEAL Network


This new opportunity is an identified role for a Research Fellow to join the HEAL Network’s First Nations Knowledges team, involving eminent Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander research leaders across the country. The position will support current projects such as the Healing Country project and will be supported to develop their own research program within the First Nations knowledges theme.

PhD Scholarship "Wellbeing impacts of climate change" - University of Tasmania


A new scholarship-backed PhD project at the University of Tasmania has just opened up to explore the relationship between environment and wellbeing to support nature-based solutions for mental resilience in urban areas. The project will be nested within the HEAL network, based at UTAS and co-supervised externally by Xiaoqi Feng (UNSW).

PhD Scholarship in Health Impact Assessment - Curtin University


This PhD scholarship will focus on 'Evidence-based tools for climate change health impact assessments that enable low- and middle-income countries meet the sustainable development agenda'. Health Impact Assessment (HIA) is an established planning tool for sustainable development with many countries having enshrined the requirement for HIA in national and sub-national legislation. The proposed project will expand the evidence-based tools available for health impact assessment (HIA) in a time of heightened risks from climate change.

PhD Scholarship in Global and Urban Social Studies - RMIT University


This PhD scholarship is attached to an Australian Research Council (ARC) Discovery 2023 project. The project aims to identify whether neighbourhood liveability influences mental and physical health and healthy ageing.

Principle Scientist - Epidemiology EPA Victoria


Reporting to the Deputy Chief Environmental Scientist, Environmental Public Health, the Principal Health Scientist - Epidemiology leads and manages a team responsible for supporting EPA to meet its statutory responsibilities relating to environmental public health, including building an evidence-based understanding of environmental public health risk.

In this role you will provide technical advice in relation to public health / environmental epidemiology, and lead and manage a team through change to ensure a positive organisational culture and ensure the highest standards of performance and integrity are achieved; and foster genuine partnerships across all levels of government, industry, and community to deliver organisational outcomes.
