HEAL Innovation Fund
Application Form
CLOSING DATE: 12noon AEST Monday 16th June 2025
The HEAL Innovation Fund has been established
to support interdisciplinary research on the interaction between the
environmental, climate change, and health by funding well-defined projects that
include community and stakeholder co-design and that have the potential to lead
to further external funding.
The 2025 seed funding on offer will support projects
worth up to $30,000 each, for a period of 12 months. Before submitting an
application to the HEAL Innovation Fund, please read and follow the eligibility
and evaluation criteria detailed in the HEAL Innovation Fund – Guiding Principles document, also available at healnetwork.org.au
PLEASE NOTE
HEAL Chief,
Associate and Affiliate Members can participate as Principal Investigators or
Co-Investigators in proposals. Applications (1) must be led by an
Early to Mid-Career Researcher (EMCR); (2) include at least one HEAL Network Chief
or Associate Investigator; (3) must include at least two HEAL
Network partner organisation; and (4) collaboration between HEAL themes/Communities
of Practice is encouraged.

Your application
will be assessed by the HEAL Innovation Fund Committee in terms of: (1)
Priority for community and other stakeholders; (2) Public health significance
and impact; (3) Scientific merit and methodology; and (4) Project team
expertise and potential, with equal weighting for each criterion.

Australian health system, and the environment.
