Dr. Syeda Fatima is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Heal Global Research Centre at the University of Canberra, with expertise in climate change and health, environmental epidemiology, and maternal and child health. Her work focuses on understanding the health impacts of extreme weather, air pollution, and environmental stressors using advanced statistical and geospatial methods. She holds a PhD in Public Health from the University of Adelaide and has authored several peer-reviewed publications. Dr. Fatima collaborates with interdisciplinary teams across academia and policy to inform evidence-based interventions and climate adaptation strategies that promote health equity in vulnerable populations.
