Gopika Indu is a research fellow at the HEAL Global Research Centre, University of Canberra, specializing in Climate Change, Air Quality, and Health. Her PhD focused on indoor air quality in rural households using biomass fuels, analyzing health impacts, and developing control technologies. Currently, she leads a project on climate change adaptation interventions to enhance resilience to wildfire smoke in Southeast Asia, particularly for children's health. Her research interests include air pollution, pollutant characterization, health impacts, clean energy systems, wildfire smoke, and sustainable public health solutions in the context of climate change.
